BAD NIGHT IN BLÜDHAVEN A scream wakes up Dick Grayson and he immediately runs out of his apartment. Bridget Clancy is confounded because she just received a property tax bill of more than 50,000 bucks. With all the Gotham City refugees coming to Blüdhaven gentrification obviously cannot be avoided. Of course, Dick could pay the bill easily, but he needs a good cover up story to do so. In the evening, Dick wants to take out Bridget to dinner. But because all of his favorite restaurants are crowded to the maximum, both end up eating hamburgers in Hogan's Alley. Although Bridget enjoys the evening, she cannot stop thinking of the tax bill. After leaving the pub, Bridget tells Dick that initially she intended to become a doctor. Dick says she should pursue this goal, but Bridget thinks he only makes fun of her. Dick is happy that Bridget and the other neighbors are buying this fake story. Once again, he tells Bridget that she could become a doctor, e.g. with a scholarship from the Wayne Foundation. Changes in Dick's life are due as well because his training at the Police Academy will start soon. Meanwhile, Nite-Wing found the thugs who shot him in a diner. He beats them to a pulp and then leaves them behind after setting the diner on fire ...
